Design Consultation
For our initial consultation we will meet at your property to discuss your project. We can discuss your goals for the space, how you intend to use the garden and your preferred aesthetics to tailor a design to suit you and your lifestyle. We have years of both design and construction experience to bring to our meeting and can advise on how best to manage your budget effectively, reaching the desired outcome using creative solutions where needed.
-
Site Survey
An up-to-date site survey using house plans is essential before we can start our work. If you do not have an up-to-date survey of your property which includes property boundaries, site levels and current dwellings we can provide this for you at a fee.
-
Schematic and Concept Design
After establishing your requirements at our Design Consultation we will examine your site’s climatic conditions and begin exploring various options for your garden, considering different layouts and materials. Following careful deliberation we will meet to present our ideas and recommendations to you. This will include mood boards, 3D images and any other relevant information.
-
Master Plan Development
Following our concept design meeting we will begin finalising your garden design. After settling on desired layouts and materials we will produce a scaled plan which will include dimensions and material quantities. We will develop a unique planting schedule suited to your site alongside a lighting plan and details of any pots and furniture recommendations.
-
Construction Documentation
Not all designs require detailed construction documentation. Built elements such as pergolas, retaining walls, built-in barbeques, boundary fences and pools may require drawings. If detailed construction drawings are needed we are happy to provide them at a fee depending on the complexity. We will advise you as early as possible where extra drawings will be necessary.
